Dr. Teodora Nicola-Varo is a dedicated specialist in Allergy and Clinical Immunology, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca. She is actively involved in the academic process, teaching immunology to medical students in both Romanian and English sections. Clinically, she practices at the Regional Institute of Gastroenterology and Hepatology “Prof. Dr. O. Fodor”, where she manages patients with complex allergic and immunological disorders.
Her research work is focused on precision diagnostics in allergy and the study of immune mechanisms in chronic inflammatory diseases. Dr. Nicola-Varo is a member of the Romanian Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (SRAIC) and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI).
