Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adriana Muntean has been a member of the Immunology Department of the university since 2004. For over two decades, she has actively contributed to the professional training of students, supporting courses, practical works and tutorial activities for all faculties and colleges of the university, both in Romanian and English. She is recognized for her constant involvement in the educational process and for her ability to adapt the scientific content to the diverse needs of students.
Her research activity is focused on the field of allergic diseases, with an emphasis on the immunological mechanisms involved, precision diagnosis and innovative therapies in allergology. She has participated in numerous national and international research projects and has published articles in specialized journals in the field of clinical immunology and allergology.
In parallel with her teaching and scientific activity, Adriana Muntean carries out her medical practice at the Regional Institute of Gastroenterology and Hepatology “Prof. Dr. O. Fodor”, as a primary physician in allergology and clinical immunology. He works in the Allergy Outpatient Clinic, where he provides consultations, diagnosis, and management of patients with complex allergic conditions.
