Dr. Laura Haidar is a distinguished Romanian allergologist and immunologist, currently serving as lecturer at „Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timișoara (UMFT). She also practices as a primary care allergist at „Jose Silva” Clinic in Timișoara.
Dr. Haidar earned her medical degree from UMFT in 2008 and subsequently specialized in allergology and clinical immunology, achieving her specialist certification in 2013. She completed her doctoral studies at UMFT in 2012, focusing on allergic diseases. Her postdoctoral research has been affiliated with „Pius Brînzeu” County Emergency Clinical Hospital in Timișoara, where she has contributed to projects like „Innovative Strategies for the Prevention, Diagnosis, and Therapy of Respiratory Diseases Induced by Ambrosia Pollen.”
In addition to her clinical and research roles, Dr. Haidar has been involved in e-research training as an E-Research Trainer at Intersect Australia.
Her scholarly work includes numerous publications on allergic diseases, allergy diagnosis, and asthma management. Notably, her recent research addresses challenges in diagnosing and treating pollen-food allergy syndrome.
