Dr. Iulius Jugănaru is a highly regarded pediatrician and specialist in pediatric allergy and clinical immunology. He currently serves as a Lecturer (Șef de lucrări) at the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași and practices at the “Sf. Maria” Emergency Children’s Hospital. His clinical and academic career is focused on improving the diagnosis and management of allergic diseases in children, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based medicine and personalized care.
His research interests include pediatric asthma, food allergies, and the development of new protocols for allergen-specific immunotherapy in children. Dr. Jugănaru is an active member of the Romanian Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (SRAIC) and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI). He has authored numerous scientific articles and has been a frequent speaker at national and international medical congresses. Beyond his clinical and research contributions, he is deeply involved in medical education, mentoring medical students and residents in the field of pediatrics and allergology.
