Professor Helen Brough is a distinguished Consultant in Paediatric Allergy and Clinical Immunology with over two decades of experience in managing children’s allergies. She serves as a Professor at King’s College London and is the Founder of Children’s Allergy Doctors, a specialized paediatric allergy clinic.
Throughout her career, Professor Brough has held significant positions, including Head of Service at the Evelina London Children’s Allergy Service from 2015 to 2023, where she led the UK’s largest children’s allergy service.
In recognition of her contributions to paediatric allergy, Professor Brough has received several prestigious awards, including the Barry Kay Award for Excellence in Paediatric Allergy Research from the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology and the Distinguished Clinician Award from the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
Beyond her clinical oyal Society of Medicine Allergy and Immunology Section (2022-2024) and Chair of the Paediatric Section for the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (2019-2022).
She also serves as the Medical Advisor for the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation and is on the Health Advisory Board for Allergy UK.
Her personal experiences, including managing her own family’s allergy challenges, have deepened her commitment to early intervention and empowering families with expert guidance and support to manage allergies effectively.
