Dr. Gavriela Feketea is a primary care pediatrician and allergist, Head of the Department of Pediatrics at General Hospital of Amaliada and Coordinator of the Pediatric Allergy Outpatient Clinic at Karamandaneio Children’s Hospital in Patras, Greece.

Associate Professor Anca Mirela Chiriac is a senior allergist and academic at the University of Montpellier, France, where she serves in the Allergy Unit of the University Hospital and is affiliated with the Institut Desbrest d’Épidémiologie et de Santé Publique (IDESP), a joint unit of the University of Montpellier and INSERM.

Her research focuses on drug allergy, particularly the diagnostic utility of drug provocation tests and the development of decision-support tools like the drug allergy numeric card. Prof. Rudolf Valenta

Prof. Rudolf Valenta is a leading personality in allergology and immunology. He earned his M.D. from the Medical University of Vienna in 1987 and has led the Molecular Immunopathology group there since 1993. He is also Foreign Adjunct Professor for Allergy at the Karolinska Institutet.

Prof. Valenta pioneered the use of recombinant allergens in diagnostics and therapy, advancing allergy care through molecular precision. He has authored over 1,000 publications, holds more than 140 patents, and has an Hirsch index of 114 with 49,000 citations.

His honors include the International Distinguished Fellow Award (ACAAI), the Paul Ehrlich Award (EAACI), and the Erich Fuchs Award (DGAKI). He has served as Vice President of EAACI and President of the Austrian Society for Allergology and Immunology.

Currently, he directs major research initiatives at the Medical University of Vienna, including the Danube Allergy Research Cluster and the MCCA PhD program.

Professor Valenta has contributed to the development of molecular allergology in Romania and is supporting Romanian allergy research in the first RSACI project – EVALRO.

Dr. Sophia Tsabouri is a Professor of Pediatric Allergy at the University Hospital of Ioannina, Greece, actively engaged in research and teaching since 2011.

She graduated in medicine in 1997 and specialized in Pediatric Allergy at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London, and Penteli Children’s Hospital, Athens. In 2011, she obtained the ESPACI Diploma in Pediatric Allergy, and in 2023, she was appointed Professor.

Her research interests include atopic dermatitis, drug allergies, anaphylaxis, and the genetics of allergic diseases. She has led major research projects, including Horizon 2020 – Stance4Health, and has published over 200 articles, with an Hirsch index of 28.

Prof. Sophia Tsabouri currently serves as the Chair of the Pediatric Section of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) for the 2024–2026 term. Previously, she held the position of Secretary of the same section since 2008.

She is a Full Professor of Medicine at the University of Málaga and serves as the Head of the Allergy Department at the Malaga Regional University Hospital, where her team provides care for a population of over 1.5 million people.

Her clinical and research work is primarily focused on drug hypersensitivity, food allergy, and respiratory diseases. She leads a multidisciplinary research group of over 30 experts at IBIMA-Plataforma BIONAND, exploring precision medicine and predictive models for allergic reactions. Prof. Mohamed Shamji

Prof. Mohamed Shamji is a world-renowned clinical immunologist and Professor of Immunology and Allergy at Imperial College London. He serves as the Head of the Immunomodulation and Tolerance Group within the National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI). He earned his PhD from Imperial College London and has since dedicated his career to understanding the mechanisms of allergen-specific immunotherapy (AIT) and the development of novel biomarkers for allergic diseases.
